photos:2000:Chattooga River

This was an exciting, if not scary, whitewater trip. We went down Section 4 of the Chattooga River in northeast Georgia. This river was made famous by the movie, "Deliverance." It is a highly technical class 4 and 5 river that floats through a steep, narrow gorge for about 9 miles. It was an all day trip, leaving FBC at 8:15am and returning at 7:30pm. Beautiful scenery, big rapids, and a good time.
